A bit of online browsing.....

Two posts today within a day - I just can't resist.
Whilst researching for my MAC posts I came across a lot of new products on the MAC website that I never seem to have seen before!

Something which particularly caught my eye were the new - nocturnals mini kits collection.

This collection consists of 7 sets - lipgloss, pigment and glitter and lip conditioner.

There is:
- Nocturnals Lip Gloss: Pink
- Nocturnals Lip Gloss: Coral
- Nocturnals Lip Gloss: Nude
- Nocturnals Pigment and Glitter: Black & Gold
- Nocturnals Pigment and Glitter: Silver & Violet
- Nocturnals Pigment and Glitter: Green & Teal
- Nocturnals: Tastitints Lip Conditioner

All these sets are set at the price of £25.50. On the MAC website it unfortunately does not state the size of each product which you get but they do not look tiny and I think these are a brilliant way of testing new products before buying a bigger version.

The website states: After-dark glamour comes in mini kits for seductive spirits seeking nocturnal pleasures. Lavish Lip Gloss sets in Coral, Pink and Nude evoke the intoxicating essence of evenings out, while Tastitints Lip Conditioner adds just a whisper of polish. Pigments and Glitter feature five jars, giving you smoky eyes in three scintillating shade waves. Packaged in glossy black boxes embellished in white and gold. Limited edition.

This description just makes me want to go and try all of these mini kits here's the link to have a gander yourself:

 Nocturnals Lip Gloss: Coral
The lipstick collection in corals looks right up my street. This set has -  Dazzleglass in Moth to Flame and Cremesheen Glass in On the Scene, Night is Young and Star Quality. They all look very wearable and I can just see me wearing these over my lipsticks and them looking stunning on the lips! I need this kit in my life.

What first came in to my mind when I saw these new kits was one thing - Christmas presents!

I can think of so many friends and family which would be more than happy opening this on Christmas day. I think they are a good and affordable price and actually look like they a lot more than they do. I find MAC collections can be quite pricey and not particularly value for money but I am definitely going to have a little peek of these next time pop into Selfridges.

Happy shopping!

Latest Mac purchases

My new Mac purchases were well worth there cost!

Whilst I am university, there is unfortunately no where for me to top up on my mac purchases! I actually think I have taken advantage of the fact I have two Selfridges within a short journey away from me. I can easily browse top up, and replace my mac goodies on a regular basis!
However, my purse is thanking me for the move!

But you always have those favourite products which you will use time and time again - the foundation.
As well as finding new products which you know your going to love - the gel eyeliner.

So whilst I was back home I took a quick trip as I ran out of my favourite all time foundation - Studio fix fluid.
This is my third bottle of this beauty! I wear the colour - NW15. It is a little pricey at £21.50, although a bottle lasts me approximately 4 months and I have recently started wearing this for nights out and special occasions only. The reason is because of the price and the amount of decent high street foundations out there at the moment I'm trying to find a cheap alternative that provides me with everything that this little gem provides.

I also needed a new gel eyeliner which is my ultimate favourite type of eyeliner! Unfortunately I left the lid off my Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner and it all dried up. The Bobbi Brown version - the long-wear gel eyeliner costs £17.50. The Mac fluidline eyeliner gel is £15. So there is not much difference in terms of price between them but I like to try new products out all the time. I picked this up in the colour local wares, which is a lovely shiny black colour which seems to have some gold shimmer running through it. It looks simply divine.
